Our little fighter is here.
Gage Travis Holder was born on January 17th at 8:44 a.m. He was 7 lbs 7 oz and 20 inches. Unfortunately during the delivery process he took a big breath and his lungs got full of meconium (his poop). The NICU nurses were able to clean his lungs out pretty good but he was still full of fluid and meconium. Our little man has had quite the struggle with infection, eating and breathing. He is doing so much better and now we are just waiting for him to realize that he still needs to breath while he sleeps. (I think it is a boy thing...us girls can multi-task). He has been off of his oxygen since last night so we will see how it goes. Once he is off the oxygen they will monitor him for 2 days and then he will get to come home to us. It has been one of the hardest things we have had to go through. We try and get to the hospital every three hours for his feedings. It is hard that noone can see him especially Kylee. Hopefully soon she can meet her little brother so she can give him a "bobble" and "pet him"!
I will keep posting and give updates on how he is doing and when he will come home.

Congratulations, I am glad he is here and doing better. He is a fighter and has been through a lot. Let me know if you need anything and he is in my prayers.
He is so handsome! I can't wait for you to have him home with you!
He is so stickin' cute! We'll have to get our boys together when they get to the age that they like to play. :)
