First Day of 1st grade

This was a very bitter sweet moment for me. I was so excited for Ky to start school and have the interaction with the kids and to learn because she loves it. I also am so sad to not have her home all day. That girly is my sidekick! I love having her with me.

My favorite! Little miss sassy pants!

Gagey was feeling left out so he had some pictures too.

These two are the best of friends. Gage has been so sad to not have his sissy home all day. That is my challenge. Keep Gage occupied!

Camping in Ophir

I wasn't sure if we would end up having our big camping trip with my family this year. It took a while to figure out a day that worked for everyone. We didn't go to our usual spot in Spring City. We ended up in Ophir. Its a pretty nice spot and close so Trav was able to drop us off Thursday and go home for work Friday. These trips are so much fun and we look forward to it every year. We need to go out more!

These two are best buddies. Gager and Dax on the right

The kids loved the river and walked through it like it wasn't freezing cold. All of the adults could handle it for about 10 seconds before we had to get out!

I brought my paints for the kids so they could paint rocks. They turned out super cute and the kids had a blast!

Ky and Parker have been the best of friends since they were babies

Gages favorite thing EVER is to ride our 4 wheeler. He would have ridden it nonstop the whole time if we let him!

Lewis (as always) setting a great example for the kids by doing something dumb. And of course getting hurt in the process.

These boys always come up with something interesting to do. There was a raccoon that came into camp and they thought it would be a good idea to set a trap to catch it. Travis almost cut his pinkie off in the process (right after I predicted that it would happen)."Good thing the bone was there or my pinkie would have come off" He says!  Fantastic!
The trap...no luck on the raccoon! SURPRISE!

This boy knows how to get dirty!

The kids made new friends with the people camping next to us. Parker had his first crush. He loved that little girl. He told Becky that he needed her "code" so that they could call eachother. It was so cute!

Our family minus Mom, Brent (taking the picture), my brother Jeff and sister Ashley.

A couple of our Zoo trips

We get a zoo pass every year and spend quite a bit of time there. Here are two of our trips. I haven't downloaded the other pics off of my camera yet.

We LOVE the new Rocky Shores exhibit. I could just spend the day watching the seals!

It was pretty hot that day and Ky was taking advantage of the misters and fans.

My sister Becky has a pass too so we took the kids.
