Park City

On Saturday we went to Park City for my mother-in-laws work party. It was so much fun and the weather was windy but great. We went on the Alpine slide the rollercoaster, the zipline, rock climbing, and other fun activities.
We were going up the ski lift to go on the zip line and I had an accident on the 2 mile an hour lift. I went to get off of it and my feet got caught underneith it. I went rolling onto my side and back and for a moment. I was going to let it go over the top of me but I figured I had enough time to get up so I hauled butt to get away from it. Travis, Marlin, Austin and Kaycee stood there and laughed at me! Not a single person helped me. K i was laughing too but that is not the point. Apparantly they stopped the lift but I had no idea. I did not get injured but I sure got made fun of!

Silly Girl

Since Kylee was a baby she has always fallen asleep in the strangest places. Here is an example of one. Last night she was fighting to stay awake and I looked down and this is how she ended up. When I woke her up she was not a happy camper. I wonder why!? If I fell asleep like that for long I would wake up to my legs asleep and I would be sore for days!

Here are a few more examples. These were all the end of last year and beginning of this year.

This one is one of my favorites. She had been doing #2 on the pottie for a few months and we were working on #1. She decided to be naughty and poop in her diaper so I am mean and made her sit in it for a while. She wasn't allowed to get down from the counter so she ended up falling asleep. She was pottie trained from that day foward! Whenever she sees this picture she says "Mom I had poop in my diaper".

Deer and Kittens

The last few weeks have been pretty slow for me. Exciting for Travis and Kylee though. Travis left out of town for just over a week to the Book Cliffs to hunt deer. He has been waiting for this tag for about 9 years and was so excited that he finally drew out. He went with his Dad, Grandpa and brother Chad, who also had a tag. While he was gone Kylee got to bring home her new little friends. I was naughty and brought home two cats even though he only said one :). He was not happy with me but Kylee loves them to death. Gus (Ky calls him Gus Gus) is the orange one and Jack is the black one. Every animal we have is named after disney characters. Gus and Jack are the mice from Cinerella. Our fish are named after characters in Lady and the Tramp. She is so happy to play with them and I am so happy that one day they will kill the rodents in our yard!

Uni brows and Mustaches

If there is anyone out there looking for a makeup artist that draws good Uni brows and mustaches Kylee is your gal! I bet she wouldn't charge much either...Just something to keep in mind!

Someone needs to teach this girl how to do makeup! I obviously am not doing a good job!



Monkey Man
We have called Gage monkey or monkey man since he was born. This is another one of reasons why we call him that. He thought it was so fun to hold his bottle with his feet!

Camping

Over the weekend we went camping again with my family. It was nice to escape the heat and get away. The spot we go is so much fun. We can shoot guns and ride 4 wheelers and the kids can just run around and play. We love being able to go and love that we have family to go with.

Rob was getting smoked out. All we had was a small axe so the boys just went around and found what was already cut up. What they brought back were some tree stumps. This log was the smallest of all of them.
Trav and I were trying to get a picture of us together. It was really dark and the flash was blinding us. Travis was trying his hardest to keep his eyes open.

I was feeling very nice so I let Gage have a sucker. He was LOVING it. I on the other hand was not loving cleaning him up after I had to fight him to take it away.

Cousin Party 2009

Every year with Travis's moms family we do a cousin party. This year we went to the zoo and the park after. The kids had so much fun!
