Becky hosted the Parker party again this year. We only get to see my Dad's side of the family a few times a year and we cherish every moment. Such a fun group of people! I love them!

Thanksgiving 2011

We had an early Thanksgiving at my Mom's house so we can all be together. This picture is of all the their Grandkids. It was quite the adventure to get them to all look the same way. It didn't work!

This picture says alot about Gage that night. He was miserable. I therefore was miserable. I had to wipe his dang nose about every 30 seconds. He sat on my lap 90% of the night.
All in all we had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we love spending time with family!

I have to share a story about my amazing little girl...
She came home from school one day and was talking about a little girl in her class. This little girl was wearing the same worn out, too small for her clothes everyday. The little girl told Kylee that she didn't have a dress. Kylee came home wanting to buy her a Christmas dress or that she could have one of her dresses. Not wanting to offend her parents I talked to her teacher about it. Her teacher had the same concern and had to talk to the parents about the little girls clothes not fitting. Unfortunately we were not able to help this little girl. Kylee was so sad that her friend would not have a Christmas dress. If only we could all be like my little 5 year old wanting to help a friend in need. It touched me that she thought only of helping this little girl and there was no judgement. She amazes me all of the time with how much she thinks of others. She comes home from school all of the time with a story of a friend alone at recess and since they didn't have someone to play with she walked around with them. I love her so much and am so grateful to have such a sweet little girl with such a big heart! I would like to be more like her! I am blessed!

Halloween Day 2011

There is so much leading up to Halloween by the time it hits I am done dressing everyone up! Our day started with Kylee's halloween parade at school. Then Gage and I went into her class to help with the party. We went to my in-laws neighborhood to do some trick or treating (since we have zero kids in ours). It was a good day!

Parker Halloween Party

We have our annual Parker Halloween Party at my uncle Brett's (my dad's brother) and his wife Katrina's house. The weather was beautiful and they were nice enough to get the horses saddled and ready for everyone to ride.
