July 24th

This year we did things a little different for the 24th. Usually we are in Delta but with Ali being so close to having the baby we didn't want to chance it. Chad had the idea for us to have a battle with the fireworks. We each built a tank to fight. We got some cars and put fireworks onto it to build our tanks. It was a ton of fun! A lot more exciting than lighting each firework individually. Ali and I battled and we wound up putting all of the loud fireworks onto ours. When they went off it was so stinkin loud! I looked over and Kylee was plugging her ears and crying. It was a good battle. We may have to make that a new tradition!

Gage did not want Kylee sitting by him. Little stinker!

Marlin's Tank

My killer Tank!!

Trav's car caught on fire and burned for a while. He lost!

Ali's tank. She had a parachute on hers and blew her own tank up!

Chad's tank

Kaycee's tank. I am surprised she didn't catch her own car on fire! Although she might have. It was hard to tell through all of the flames who caught her on fire.

Austin's looked more like a fighter jet or something.

She pretty much sat like this all night.

She was freaked out by the sparklers.

Then she loved them! (Don't mind her crazy hair. It was the end of the night!)

Crazy Chad!

He was an ornery little guy. It was past his bedtime. That is why he had his bink!

Fishing

Last Friday we took our boat out and went fishing at Deer Creek with Katie and Brian. The kids stayed at my mom's house while we went. It was so relaxing!

Poor Travis didn't catch anything! I swear he spent most of the time messing with his line.

Brian caught 3 fish

Katie and I just spent most of the time either napping or reading our kindles.

Taylorsville Days Parade

Travis was out of town for a softball tournament with Katie's husband this year so we took the kids to the parade. Kylee loves the parade and we look forward to it every year. That night we watched the fireworks from my backyard. They always put on the best firework show for Taylorsville Days.
So stinkin cute!!

Katie's niece Makenna came over to play with Kylee during the Parade

She loves the floats with the "princess's" on them

Kylee's Birthday

Kylee turned 4 on June 19th. I can't believe she is that old already. I feel like she should be a baby still. She has been such a joy in my life and I am grateful everyday that she is a part of me. When she was a baby I kept wanting her to grow up so fast so I could play with her and interact with her more. I swear I blinked and she turned 4. I know better now to not wish my kids to get older so fast. Enjoy them being babies because before you know it they arn't anymore!

Kylee was spoiled and got so many great presents!

Travis, Austin and Marlin

The kiddos minus the babies. Left to right. Easton, Braydon, Aspen, Clayton, Parker, Gage, Kylee and Brynlee.

This girl loves her Daddy! I think her Daddy loves her a little bit too!
