The boys were obsessed with fishing while we were there

There is a story behind this picture. Last time we went to Powell the boys kept trying to kill a fish with a rock. They were actually successful! It was dark and they used a flashlight to lure the fish in and then hit it with a rock. Travis was in the water so he pulled his pajama bottoms up like that so they wouldn't get wet! (I know, it's very attractive!) He made sure he brought his sponge bob pants cause it just wouldn't be the same without them!

Cute little Dax. He did so good while we were there!

Katie said a naughty word and Becky and I were laughing at her. I don't think there has ever been a time that we have been with Katie and haven't laughed our heads off!

We had so much fun while we were there. The weather was perfect! Not a single storm. The best part about it was that I didn't have my kids there. It was my first time leaving them for a vacation and it was wonderful! I can't wait to go back!!!!

14 years...

I wish I had some pictures of my Dad to put on here.
I must explain the Diet Coke in the picture. It was his favorite so we take a can or a bottle and dump it where he was buried. Sounds weird I know but even if we don't get there first my Grandparents do it. Just another weird Parker thing!

Kylee wanted to draw a picture for him.

14 Years ago today my Dad passed away. It is always a very difficult day for our family. It has gotten even harder since I had my kids. I was 12 when he passed and even then he always talked about how much he looked forward to when we grew up and had kids of our own. I know that he would love to be here with his grand kids. I look at my kids and wish so much that they could know him in this life. He was the most amazing person I have ever known. There is no doubt in my mind that he is here with us in the moments that we need him. I have felt his presence a number of times. A few of us have even been blessed to be able to see him. I look forward to when we get to see eachother again. Even though I look forward to it I hope it won't be for quite some time! I know my Dad was meant to go and our Heavenly Father had some important reasons for it. Even though he is not here physically I feel him guiding us in the same way he would if he were here. I love you Dad and miss you more than anything!

Zoo

Don't mind the big double chin! I tried to get everyone in the picture. Didn't work. Travis,Chad and the kids are missing.

Cute little man getting ready for a ride

Kylee's favorite part of the zoo is riding the merry-go-round

Gage enjoyed his first zoo merry-go-round ride

She wasn't to sure about the owl. She said it was "freakin her out" every time it looked at her

Yum!

Grammy and her monkeys

Gage loves his Papa!

He would get sprayed in the face every time Marlin would turn the water on

Watching the bird show

Poor Ali was dying of heat. Black shirt and pregnant don't go together when it's hot outside

I can't tell if the girl in the background is trying to make a face for the picture

Feeding the ducks

A few weeks ago Marlin and Tonya were watching the kids for us and took them to feed the ducks. We met up with them when we were done and spent some time there feeding them too. The kids absolutely LOVED it!!

Kylee kept smooshing her bread and throwing the big clump of bread into the water. You can see her smashing it in this picture. I told her not to do it because the bread just sank and the ducks couldn't eat it. She said she did it because they stick their head under the water to get it and that was her favorite!
