July 4th weekend

Every year for the 4th of July weekend we go to Delta. This year we went boating and went to the parade and the demolition derby. We had the perfect weather. We love going to Delta with Travis's family it is one of our favorite trips.

He fell asleep. (he was just about asleep in this picture but the whole time he slept he held on for dear life to his life jacket)

Just about every time we are on the boat Kylee falls asleep.


4th of July Parade

The best Grammy ever! Tonya was helping Kylee get candy and a float came by that had bags of popcorn. She yelled to them to throw a bag to her for Kylee and they did. As she was going to grab it a little girl was reaching for it the same time and Tonya ripped it out of her hands. Stealing candy from a baby!! She just said that she was being a good grandma by getting it for Kylee. It was hilarious so I just had to get a picture of the prize!

Demolition Derby



Gage fell asleep at the beginning of the derby and woke up a little before the fireworks started. I am amazed that he could sleep through all of that crashing. Sitting in the same position for 2 hours or so was not a good idea. My body was aching the next day.
Kylee was having a good time squirting her uncle Chad with the spray bottle. We were having quite the little water fight for a little bit. We were enjoying it but I am sure the people around us werent!

Taylorsville Days

On Saturday My sisters Ashley and Brittany came with the kids and I to watch the Taylorsville Days Parade. I am not a big parade fan but having the kids there and Kylee enjoying it so much was a lot of fun. Later that night we went over to the park for fireworks with family. The kids loved the fireworks. Gage was mesmerized! Fireworks are one of my favorite things to watch. They are amazing!

My little girl is 3!!

June 19th Kylee turned 3. I am still amazed at how fast our little ones grow up. It ended up being a little bit of a crazy day. Kylee got pampered a little bit in the morning, nails painted and hair done. Grammy Tonya came and took her to Leatherby's to get some icecream. After that my sisters came over to help me with making the cupcake cake. I am very proud of our work! Thank you Martha Stewart for the bug idea! We had family over that night for some cake and ice cream. It also is my moms birthday on June 19th so i made a cake for her also since Kylee kind of took it over. Thank you everyone for coming and thank you for her gifts she loves them all!!

She absolutely loves everything she got for her birthday. We are so lucky to have great families and friends who are always supporting us.

I Fly

On Saturday for my sister Becky's birthday we went to Ogden to Ifly which is indoor skydiving. It was so much fun! We had a blast. I wasn't able to get pictures of us doing it or pictures of us in our sweet gear. I got some after with our goggle marks on our faces. After that we went to do flowrider which is the indoor surfing. I will post some pictures of that later.

Camping

Every year we do a big camping trip with my family. This year we went to Spring City canyon by Mt. Pleasant. The spot we go to is almost at the top on the mountain and is so beautiful. There was still a bit of snow up there and luckily we have our trailer with the heater and so the nights were not too bad.
