Hogle Zoo

She got tired and said we needed to sit down. We just sat and watched the cougar for a little bit.
Something was interesting to look at.

She was talking to the monkey. "Ooh ooh ahh ahh"He wasn't listening!

Trav got off work early on Friday so we decided to go to the Zoo. Kylee loved seeing all of the animals especially the "elphidants", the monkeys and the giraffes.

On saturday she got sick. She is just like her dad and shows it a lot in her eyes as you can tell in the picture below ( She just happened to be on the toilet when Trav too the picture with his phone). She was making us so sad with those eyes. She is slowly getting back to normal and thankfully she is looking a lot better.

Our little Guitar Hero Maniac!

Kylee loves it when we play Guitar Hero. Especially the song "Slow Ride". She just dances around and sings to it. The other day we stuck it on practice so she couldn't fail and let her just go for it and she actually hit a few notes. She thought she was doing so good but part way through the song she yelled "Dangit"and stopped playing. I guess we know what she hears all the time when Dad fails a song (good thing she didn't pick up on the other words he uses). There are certain songs that she will hum along to and sing to a little bit. I guess we play way too much but it is hard to say no when she brings the "atar" to us and wants us to play so she can dance!

Playing at the Park.

It was such a beautiful day on Tuesday so Becky and I got the kids together to play at the park. Kylee and Parker, "Partoo" as Kylee calls him, had a lot of fun. It is so fun to have a cousin so close in age. Becky tricked me into getting on some spinning chair that made me so dizzy. I had to sit down before I fell over and it took a few minutes to get back to normal. Becky of course did not get in the chair of death after me!

Go Jazz!

Last night we went to the Jazz game just Trav and I. Even though they didn't do so hot it was so much fun to get out with just us and spend some time together. I don't want to sound corny but I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband that I love to spend time with and who I can have fun with. I feel bad that he had to put up with me talking about another man the whole game. I have a little crush on Kyle Korver!

Bear Cubs

Last weekend we went to Sportsmans Warehouse to see the baby bear cubs. Travis's brother Austin works there so he was able to get us in the back to see all 5 of them. They were very cute and I was suprised at how coarse their fur was. Kylee was so excited to see the baby bears!

Disney on Ice

We saw the Princess's on Ice with Leslie and Aspen. I was a little bit nervous to take Kylee and have her sit for 2 hours on my lap, especially cause it was nap time, but she did really good and enjoyed watching. She did fall asleep a few minutes before intermission and woke up a little after it started again so she didn't miss much. Next year we are going to have to get a princess dress so she can dress up too!

Take your daughter to work day!!!

Since Liz (our office manager) was going to be out of town today I offered to go into work. The only thing was is I had to bring Kylee with me and of course my boss said that would be fine. It was a very interesting day trying to entertain a 20 month old for 7 hours. Thankfully he let us take a break to go grab some food and thankfully Target had the Tigger and Pooh movie that Kylee loves to watch. There are alot of fun things for a toddler to get into at a dental office such as the paper clip dispenser. We did figure out that if you shake it really hard they fly all over the place and it is very fun! Also she loves trying to push buttons on the $90,000 Cerec machine (thankfully that got old fast). The treasure chest was fun too...throwing everything out of it as fast as you can and watch mom pick all of the pieces up. Over all she did really well and of course she finally fell asleep about 20 minutes before we left. I can't complain too much she was very quiet and didn't complain too much. I don't think I want to be doing that again any time soon!

It is crazy looking back and seeing how fast your little ones grow up. I came across some pictures and wanted to share just a few of my favorite of Kylee with everyone!



This is last year on Easter morning before church. She was learning how to walk and getting pretty good at it but she did not like me leaving her to take a picture.

This also was Easter morning last year. The neighbors had some pretty flowers so we thought it would be a good spot. She was so cute in her dress and she looks so sweet!

I have this picture sitting in my house. Some people may think this is an odd one for a favorite but I love it. Every time I look at it it makes me smile. Anyone that knew her at this stage knows that this was her look she gave to everyone. She still has the same look!

How can you not want to wake up in the morning when this is what you get to wake up to!
